  1. Booking Confirmation

By making a booking and/or staying at Fairview Station Cape York, the primary guest (booking holder) agrees to all terms, conditions, and waivers outlined in this document on behalf of all guests included in the booking.


  1. Primary Guest Responsibility

The booking name and contact number of the primary guest are recorded for this agreement.

The primary guest accepts full legal responsibility for all individuals included in the booking, including minors.

  1. Cancellation Policy

Early term departures: No refunds will be issued.

  1. Refund Policy

Refunds are processed within 7–10 business days to the original payment method.

Refunds will not be granted due to failure to comply with Station Rules.

If the Operator of Fairview Station Cape York must cancel a booking due to unforeseen circumstances, guests will receive a full refund or the option to  rebook within the calendar year.

  1. Privacy Policy

Personal information is collected for booking and operational purposes only.

Information will not be shared, sold, or rented except where required by law.

Our website may use cookies for analytics and user experience improvements.

  1. Booking & Payment

Full payment is required prior to arrival or on arrival at Fairview Station Cape York.

Rates displayed are per night per site, meal options and property tours, and includes applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Prices may change without notice, confirmed bookings will not be affected by price changes.

  1. Check-in & Check-out

Check-in: 2:00 PM 9:00 PM (early check-in may be available upon request).

Check-out: By 10:00 AM (late check-outs may incur additional fees).

  1. Guest Responsibilities

8.1 Generic responsibility

Guest are to camp in their designated area

Guests must respect the Station Rules, station staff personal areas and property, and other guests quite enjoyment.

Follow staff directions.

Report any property damage immediately to the appropriate staff member.

Pets must be kept in designated areas and on a leash.

No unauthorised visitors on site without approval.

8.2 Fairview Station campgrounds

Guests must clean up after themselves and dispose of waste responsibly in the designated bins.

Toilet canister waste may only be disposed in the designated area at the Station

8.3 Off Grid Camping Sites

No access is permitted to off grid camping  sites unless escorted by appropriate staff member or Hunt NQ staff.

Access during and following any rain event must be discussed and approved by appropriate staff member or Hunt NQ staff.

All waste from the off grid camping sites must be removed.

Do not dispose of toilet canister waste at any off grid site camping site .

  1. Property Rules

No unaccompanied or unescorted access applies to the entire property, with no exceptions.

No hunting or shooting unless guided by authorised staff or Hunt NQ Guides.

Give way to stock, horses, motorbikes, and vehicles being ridden or driven by station staff.

Do not interact with livestock (cattle and horses).

Report all sick or injured livestock to the appropriate staff member.

Do not approach or disturb wildlife.

No private motorbikes or quad bikes are permitted to be used on the property.

No access to station staff quarters, staff common areas, cattle yards, sheds, machinery, or equipment.

No access to restricted areas

No open fires, other than in designated fire pits in the Fairview Station campgrounds  or as directed by NQ Guides at off grid camping locations.

firewood guests may collect wood from the stockpile, see staff for location only take what you need.

Do not use wood stockpiled adjacent to the camp oven pit.

All fires are to be completely extinguished on exiting.

Children must be supervised at all times.

10. Conduct & Damage

Disruptive behaviour or illegal activity will not be tolerated.

Management reserves the right to evict guests without refund.

Guests are responsible for any damage caused.

  1. . Liability & Indemnity

Guests acknowledge there are inherent risks of staying on a working property including potential interaction with property management practices, extensively run livestock, plant , varying terrain, and weather events.

Guests assume all risks.

The Operator of Fairview Station Cape York, the owners and its staff are not liable for injury, loss, or death unless due to proven negligence.

Guests agree to indemnify the Operator of Fairview Station Cape York against all claims.

  1. Access to water

Entering water is at the guest’s own risk.

The Operator of Fairview Station Cape York accepts no liability.

All rivers, water courses and water bodies (e.g. stock dams) may contain crocodiles, dangerous wildlife and other hidden obstacles.

All rivers and water courses may be subject to rapid changes in water levels and currents following heavy rain (which may not have been local).

No warranty as to safe swimming areas can be guaranteed.

Children must be supervised at all times near water.

  1. Photo & Media Consent

13.1 Guests acknowledge and consent that the Operator of Fairview Station Cape York may take photographs and/or video recordings during tours and activities, and that by signing this waiver they provide permission for such images and footage to be used by the Operator of Fairview Station Cape York for marketing, promotional, and operational purposes.

13.2 Guest Photos By voluntarily uploading or sharing images or videos to Fairview Station Cape York’s platforms (including PhotoCircle), guests grant permission for use in marketing, social media, and promotional materials.

Guests confirm they have permission from individuals appearing in content.

If guests do not wish their content to be used, they must refrain from uploading or notify in writing.

Consent is royalty-free and ongoing. No compensation will be provided.

  1. Acknowledgement & Agreement

By making a booking, the primary guest confirms they have read, understood, and agree to all terms.

This document is legally binding.
